DC Legacy Project has a full-time project director!

DC Legacy Project welcomed a new full-time director, Corey Shaw, Jr., on August 14, 2023. A DC native with lifelong roots in Ward 7, Corey co-founded the local reparations project Black Broad Branch and is an active member of the African American Redress Network. He has a background in political science and oral history and most recently served as Senior Program Data Analyst on Rapid Rehousing for Individuals for the Greater Washington Urban League.
